The Colón Theatre recontruction
The Colon Theatre, our most important opera house is falling slowly apart. They are reconstructing the fassade and I think there is a proyect to close it down for a year and do recontruction work all over it. They also wanted to build and anphitheatre outside, but I guess it´ll take a while till then.

What a grand old building! I can imagine that the project to redo the facade could take well over a year. It would be intersting to have a picture every month or so as discernable changes occur. Thanks for this interesting history.
That's my special interest in architecture.
