This flower was built by a famous ( I think he´s from Catalonia) architect and is now located next to the law faculty in a huge park in the Recoleta neighbourhood. At night the flower closes and is illuminated by soft red light. Posted by Picasa

I never really realized that it opened and closed. Shall have to take a better look next time I am passing in a cab. Oh right no more cabs for me only collectivos!

I just wanna say this an interesting piece of public art...the reflection of the surrounding area is nice and I suspect when it gets really sunny in summer you can fry eggs on it? (just kidding, but maybe.)
